Who we are
We are the developers of Plastic SCM, a full version control stack (not a Git variant). We work on the strongest branching and merging you can find, and a core that doesn't cringe with huge binaries and repos. We also develop the GUIs, mergetools and everything needed to give you the full version control stack.
If you want to give it a try, download it from here.
We also code SemanticMerge, and the gmaster Git client.

We are at TechEd, Barcelona, and we had the chance to have a look at the new (and cool) PowerShell, the new Windows command line.Thursday, November 09, 2006 Pablo Santos 2 Comments
And we also seen a very nice tool PowerGadgets, which can create cool graphics out of powershell commands...
And... ok, here we are... find some graphics out of our repository!!

I'm the CTO and Founder at Códice.I've been leading Plastic SCM since 2005. My passion is helping teams work better through version control.
I had the opportunity to see teams from many different industries at work while I helped them improving their version control practices.
I really enjoy teaching (I've been a University professor for 6+ years) and sharing my experience in talks and articles.
And I love simple code. You can reach me at @psluaces.

I finish returning from a trip to London. There, I could get the magazine in which we have published an article and an advertisment page on november edition. This is peculiar, because I have really been first in Códice Software in seeing the result. But it is not necessary to travel 1200 km to find the magazine. In Spain it will be published in one or two days ;-)Thursday, November 02, 2006 Daniel Peñalba 0 Comments

Yes! I was the first employee to join Codice!I own the record in number of check-ins to the Plastic repository. And you can find me working on every single area of Plastic.
I'm also a professional guitar player and I like scuba diving, too. You can reach me at @danipen00.

It's been just a year since we started the Plastic development. We had been planning, designing and dreaming about it for years. And it seems it is finally there. Thursday, November 02, 2006 Pablo Santos 3 Comments
Just a year, but I can tell you it looks like ages to me.
Anyway, it is there!! There are still tons of things to do: workflows will be there in less than a month, reporting is coming too, and then new projects like semantic merges, new visual repository visualizations and many more...
But the SCM core is already released! We promised it was going to be there for November the 1th, and we did it! :-)
Try it! Work with it! See why Plastic is the tool we wanted when we were working at different projects. High end capabilities, affordable cost, fast, easy to use, and... it has the looks!!
If you enjoy using it as much us we did developing it... we have a deal!!
